Before Bed Routine

  • Shine Your Sink (Day 1)
  • Clothes For Tomorrow (Day 7)
  • Another 2-Minute Hot Spot Clean (Day 6)
  • Check your Control Journal Checklist (Day 8)
  • Your Bedtime (Day 17)

It Won’t Be Perfect

Can you believe that we’ve been practicing building our new habits for the past 25 days? Of course, they might not have been perfect. Maybe you went to bed with a sink full of dishes, stayed in your pajamas all day, or didn’t get to fold that laundry.

That’s ok!

All that matters is that you keep trying your best.

Read your post-it notes and control journal to remind you of the habits that you’re building.

Building habits does take work. It takes longer than one day, one week, or even a month. Just keep chipping away every day, and soon you’ll have an automatic routine that’ll help you get your home and life in order.

Tip from Flylady

One tip that Flylady shares on her blog post for day 25 is to do the swish and swipe baby step whenever you need a restroom break. It only takes a few minutes, so why not swish the toilet and wipe the counters before you head out.

And next time you need to have a restroom break, go to a different bathroom.
